A shot from the past (Best View Larger)

Taken during our trip to Cameron Highlands earlier this year. I'm

surprised the Jpeg file control the soft light so well on that cloudy

day.

Excellent balance of opposite colors. Great exposure. Blanking off all to the right of Albert's elbow, (distracting tree/s) then ...cropping below him, so that he stands at the bottom of the pix, (thereby also losing the bright stone) would have made the composition more strict and interesting.

Hmmmm. You're right about the stone but don't you think the tree trunks look interesting? Very observant as usual Thomas. Nice to see you around again.

Though I love trees, in this case, it would be better to crop as suggested by Thomas. Otherwise, good composition, light and colour combinations.

Just blank off the tree, interesting as it is, and the subject jumps out at you!!

OK Thomas, Sircar, like so? But IMHO I still think the original is more aesthetic albeit minus the rock.

Well, Bilal decorate the landscape with his red shirt...nice original minus the stone in the FG.. I think like you Alec that the tree trunk adds to the whole. Pnina
