Hi Ron, I like the colors. It may be your intention but I find myself struggling to find a solid point of focus. I like the background.

Jamie, your are correct. There is no point of focus without knowing why it is named so. The Blackgum is the first to show color of all the trees. It starts in mid summer or even earlier if it is a dry season. It is said that it being the first of color is Autumns Paintbrush. Very simple.

Thanks, Ron. I didn't know that. Looking at the picture again, and armed with that information, I notice that the shape of the leaves and branches reflects that of a paintbrush. Cool!
