Have you considered black and white? I think it brings out the statue in the balcony, as well as the sky.

 

Of course, if you could just get a beam of light to catch the cross on top of the steeple...

devoted sister and the largest palmerie of the southern Africa...

Nice symmetry- I like both versions but in the B&W one the figure on the balcony is more noticable :-)

for your critique and that you welcomed me to photo.net. I love this picture you've shooted and i defenitely prefer it in colour. The blue sky and the blue "shadow" in the "dress". The b/w was to grey with the huge building. I love pictures with a lot of contrasts!
