jmoody 0 Posted October 18, 2005 To any and all photoshop wizards out there... what could I do to get rid of the sign in the background (or is it not that distracting?) I'd like to not spend hours cloning out individual pixels... maybe copy some portions of the bushes, paste and move them with feathered edges? Any help, comments, or ratings appreciated (p.s., doesn't have to be perfect as this most likely won't make it to a gallery, but would rather that the touch up is not noticeable either.) Thanks! skarmach 0 Posted October 18, 2005 I liked the expression you caught. I would crop out almost half the background on the left side. Link to comment
gluteal cleft 0 Posted October 18, 2005 Two things would have made this a phenominal portrait: More light on her face, and if the sign weren't behind her. Link to comment
alexguerra 0 Posted October 20, 2005 It is indeed a very nice portrait. The girl's expression is really cute. However somethings could improve it even in PS. For my taste, the space on the left is too big since it doesn't add much to the picture. You could try to highlight her face in PS, perhaps with the fillflash feature or levels. I'm not an expert in photoshop, but regarding your question, I think the best way to remove that sign is to clone it out and then to smudge the imperfections. It should be difficult to get a perfect result, but this photo surely worths the try. Regards! Alex Link to comment
