andrew_van_dam 0 Posted October 18, 2005 a beautiful photo, nice composition especially the figure in the distance. The only thing that i think could give it that extra edge would be to take it up and extra stop to make it a little darker and mysterious as well as turining the figure into more of a shilouet. Although a bit of photoshop work could fix that if you really wanted to (i am a bit of a naturalist my self). all in all very lovely photo Andrew Link to comment
arnulf 0 Posted October 18, 2005 A great shot, really! The overexposure bothered me a little bit, so I took the liberty to tweak the levels and curves a little. Hope you don't mind. I did it very fast, but I think with a little time experimenting with the colors and levels, you could improve it further. But, by all means: you are clearly a more experienced photographer than me, so I'm not going to criticize too much.. I love the mood in the shot. Great job!! Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted October 18, 2005 Thank you for your comments. Arnulf, the over exposure does not bother me, because for me it is not overexposure but the level of brightness there was in reality. When the light is blinding in real, I love that it is the same thing on my photos. Your suggestion gives a grey light that is not satisfiying for me.Regards. Link to comment
jana 1 Posted October 20, 2005 Henri, tres jolie photo et le titre est parfait. I like your version better, the overexposed is OK, suits the title and the mood and gives more detail in the dark parts. I love the composition, the diagonal "light" lines giving the image the needed dynamics. jana Link to comment
