Tripod & cable release. Auto Exposure @ f16 with polarizing filter. Slight levels, saturation, & USM in PS plus framing. This Fergus landmark provides a staircase from the pedestrian bridge area, visible in the upper right, to the Grand River. What one is supposed to do at that point is a mystery to me:-) Best, LM.

Len, I'm really enjoying going through your Fergus shots! I'm feeling bad that I wasn't able to join you for it. I like the textures in these recent shots. I don't know if I would have cut out the rhs of the river. Good thinking, however to catch the stairs. Another one I hadn't thought of. I've pushed, pulled and dragged a canoe down those stairs in order to launch below the rapids, but I don't think that's what they were made for.

Greg, Good suggestion to include more of the RHS of the river. I think I was trying to avoid the buildings which would be visible had I done so. Perhaps, with a bit more thought & more precise framing, this could be accomplished. One time a zoom might have done a better job than a prime plus repositioning the camera. I'll keep it in mind for my next shoot at this location. Best, LM.
