sriram 0 Posted October 15, 2005 Nice. The band of sand in the middle almost makes this look like two photographs. Link to comment
dave_k1 0 Posted October 15, 2005 This was taken at low tide. Much of this area has open tidal flats at low tide. The band of sand you see is part of the exposed tide land. Your comments are appreciated. Dave Link to comment
Fishermang 0 Posted October 16, 2005 Fantastic! Many details, and very interesting to explore the landscape. I especially enjoy the "weird" foreground you use in many of your landscapes, it usually presents rocks and sands one has never seen before. Original! I am considering getting the same lens as you used here, maybe you have some comments on it? Lens-noob here ;) Link to comment

chriss1 2 Posted October 16, 2005 Perfect shot as usual, the sky gives a terrific atmosphere and the beach's form and facture is also wonderful. Thanks for sharing beautiful pictures from Alaska (like this), a very outlying land for me. Link to comment
