At the first glance I thought you've been in Holland Europe, Julius. This scene looks so familiar to me.

 

It's a colourful compostion and I really love it!

 

A question Julius, do they have these tulips everywhere in Michigan, or is it a speciality for the city Holland because of the name? I'm curious to know more about it. Thank you for sharing this great picture with us, Ada:)

Holland - a beautiful city in Michigan - is populated by people from Netherlands. One could probably see every thing about Netherlands in Holland, Mi - including the windmills, wooden shoes and delft ware. I was lucky enough to be there during their tulip festival.

 

Is spending several hours in Schiphol airport [three times in 2004] considered visiting Holland? I guess not!

 

I don't plan on sneaking away again :)

A pity you were only on Schiphol because particular Amsterdam (which is very nearby Schiphol) is such a wonderful city to visit.

 

But who knows, perhaps in the future.
