A wacky thing to do. Its pouring rain after work and I'm about to

step into the car. The bright leaves illuminated by the streetlamp

looked interesting to me. I set my camera up in the car and placed

the camera on a small tripod, just outside my car-door. This is the

result. Comments are welcome.

Would you mind telling us more about the colours? I mean the real ones that night. It's surprising what I see here and very unususal but then I'm a novice...

Quite different, but very captivating. The more I look, the better I like it. In my opinion, I like the bottom 2/3 of the photo. I wonder if you croped the bottom of the picture, it may enhance the effect as an abstract. Just a thought. Still, very enjoyable photo - Excellant work.

Thanks for commenting. Actually, the colours are fairly faithful to what is here. The wet leaves reflected the streetlight very brightly. The picture is probably a little bright because of the 4 second exposure.

And Glenn, I worked on your suggestion right away and here is the result: "Fallen Gold folder " I think it worked quite well. I think I like both versions equally well, with perhaps a slight nod to the newer version. Thanks for mentioning it! I will have it rated in due course separately.
