"Patina" ... The appearance of something grown beautiful especially with age or use ... My hope is that these photos will convey that ... all of the photos in this series (see my patina folder) are taken with vintage cameras using pinhole or lens and filters, and not digital alteration. Cropping, tint or balance are done on computer from scans of the original film ...Thanks for looking ...

This is the same shot as "kerosene sold here" which appears in the

same folder ... this one taken with a pinhole rather than the

lens/gizmo used on the previous photo.

I appreciate your explanation and what you are doing. I use vintage, manual cameras as well. My grandkids tell me I need to sell it all and switch to digital.

 

Everything about this shot feels like the 1920's. So I'd say you've nailed it!
