I like the way the smoke blends into the clouds. I do not like the transition between the halves of the world. It just is not aesthetically pleasing.

I agree about the transition between industry and nature - perhaps a blending of grey to brown and brown to green would suggest the precarious layer of precious soil that's holding it all together, that provides life and nourishment on the one hand and which we are so quick to poison on the other.

Al, I was thinking also about Le petit prince, that was/is my favorite book. Your interpretation is more "modern" . I love it, another piece of art of yours.
