markonestudios 4 Posted October 11, 2005 I took this photo at a motor show for vintage vehicles. Please critique this one and others in my portfolio. I value commentary over ratings, but you're more than welcome to rate as well, of course :) Thanks... Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted October 14, 2005 There might be a different way to think about framing this kind of image. The way you shot it, we see the bike and the background and say snapshot of a nice blue bike. What's really interesting is the deatils of the bike. This is one of mine shot of a motorcycle: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=3407381 Link to comment
markonestudios 4 Posted October 14, 2005 Hi Howard. I see what you mean. Changing a snapshot into something a litle more interesting... I'll give it a shot. Thanks for that. As ever, kind regards from Kenya, Mark Link to comment
thomas_turk 0 Posted October 19, 2005 Wow, a Triumph Tiger 100 spring hub, 500cc. I had one in Nairobi in 1959...Re photo. Background should be out of focus, like your flower pix. Then, one to two stops down to correctly expose the bright parts of the bike, and make the rest darker, adding balance and harmony. Link to comment
