ljk 0 Posted October 11, 2005 Looking for that different view through cropping...what do you think? Link to comment
sarahunderhill 1 Posted October 11, 2005 I like it. I like the texture of the cardboard. Well done. What is the original? Link to comment
jmoody 0 Posted October 11, 2005 Tough to tell on the monitor here at work, but I'm guessing x-mas decorations? (even helps with the "x" in "x marks the spot!) Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted October 11, 2005 You have unique vision and this is another unique find. I like the color and geometric elements. Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted October 13, 2005 Hi guys, Off for a couple of days, but nice to see the visits. Edwin, I'm glad you like it. Sarah, I'll download the original from home. It is a much more ordinary view. Jeff...yes, the X that so many put in Christmas. Not rushing the season, these are antique ornaments at a recent flea market. Wilson...nice to bask in your appreciation. Link to comment

daily_photograph 0 Posted October 16, 2005 which part of the surrounding will be spotted next as a piece of art... (Did you try also different widths for the two components of the frame?) Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted October 16, 2005 Daily, the frame was part intentional, and part mistake, but in the end I liked the effect....so no, I only tried it in these widths. So nice to see you here.... Link to comment
watermark_of_merni 14 Posted October 16, 2005 Excellent colors, textures, positioning of forms and your frame. This composition takes me back to all the times when I use to open my favorite box of Christmas ornaments. It wasn't just what was inside but the packaging as well. That's why I love the brown textures with these metallic colors! Another great title for this . Merni Link to comment
v 0 Posted October 22, 2005 Linda, this is a cool image. I like the geometrical structure and the hard texture. REally cool! Light works here very well, too :) And... I keep wondering why we don't see the photographer in the reflection of the red ball that well!...%))) Really nice image:) Link to comment
