thomas_turk 0 Posted October 9, 2005 Another dull, dreary, drab, dead digital nature shot. Maybe with the new Canon EOS5??? BUT, for that kind of money, you could buy a Contax Nx and superior optics, ie Zeiss 70-200 and a 28mm PLUS a thousand rolls of Fji or Agfa. You would then create magic..Lighting, perspective and composition .. excellent Link to comment
anndra 0 Posted October 9, 2005 I'll put aside for the moment that you are repeatedly posting the same - errant - comment about the EOSD5 and simply consider your reading skills. In your rush to condemn out of hand and rant about zeiss and zat didn't you notice the shot was taken with a D70? Or that I asked for constructive criticism? Thought not - blinkers on, keyboard engaged moments afore the grey matter and bleurghh out comes your spleen content. I appreciate thoughtful criticism because I know I have far to go and so I'll gladly disregard your ill-considered nonsense. Link to comment

bjone 0 Posted October 11, 2005 I really liked this photo. Studied it for a long time, and wondered what you've done with the original? Or, was the colors really like this? And, a comment about Thomas Turk: On his personal site he claims to have been an amateur photographer for 60 years. Judging from his portofolio, he hasn't learned much about photography during this time. This also means he is probably around 75 years(?). He is still using film, and probably not knowing anything about computers or digital cameraes. It's probably very frustrating to not be able to enter the the digital arena. So , this frustration is poured out on the users of Photo.net. It seems that he also are using about the same critisism for every photo. Sad old man, don't mind what he says. Link to comment
