To you all for supporting the image. That is a place I will come back to.It is so interesting to see the huge amount of natural life going on there.

SPENCER, glad to see you again, Shalom! Pnina

I see a more complex image than man v. nature. The bird is there because of what mankind is doing there - farming fish. The egret, like us, is at the top of the food chain and is looking for a free meal - kindly provided by us by thoughtfully aerating the water to keep the fish alive and well!

Thanks Colin and Eml'ie.

Colin, yes you are right in your writing. That place is like a "lab" to observe how man and other species in nature are connected. All of us belong to the food chain....

Aml'lie, it is a huge place full with pools, we were traveling with a car stoping in places that looked interesting. you have to stop relatively far as we are not bird people... Now you can see different species like storks, and the cranes are due in a week or so. I take photos with my 70/300mm. Focal lenth here was 205mm the first and second one( the acrobats) 300mm.

Here is a group of storks we met there...taken from far as we wanted them to stay...not a good one, but represent some of what is going on there.. Pnina
