maria 7 Posted October 19, 2005 We went up on this hill, as my friend thought there would be cafeteria there. The cafeteria has closed a while ago, and now is only a theatre left. But we did not plan to spend time in the theatre, so enjoyed the view instead. The looks are towards Pireus, although the sea, at night just a black surface, isn't visible in the photo. Between us and the see one can sea the many lights of Athens, and between them the Acropolis, quite in the middle. I found that from this distance the lights of the Acropolis are easier to catch; from very close they were to strong for the film in my camera. Please disregard the green-grey surface in the foreground. Those are the stones of the parapet, on which I had put the camera, since, as usual, I did not have the tripod with me (the rest what I had to carry was heavy enough; a luck that my friend was with his car). thanks for looking and reading Maria Link to comment
