"Forgotten Pond" - pond in quarry landscape in South China, Guangdong Province

Photo showing a lilly pond in a canyon or gap between mountains. Due to its remote and hidden location, I guess not many people have ever noticed it.When photo was taken, the sky was overcast with not too much direct sunlight. This helped a bit to reduce harsh contrasts. Used tripod, cropped down to square format. Frame added 27th of Oct. 2001 without making any changes to original photo.
