Pnina, It seems this is either a very brave or very tired bird to be on this cable. A most unusual scene to me, I have the feeling those paddle wheels must be adding oxygen to the water....I don't think it is in the realm of possibility to have everything in this frame to be in focus with a 300mm lens, even at f32....Jim

Very unusual sight! I've never seen anything like it - egrets I've seen - a lot of them - always seem to prefer walking and standing on flat surfaces...my guess is that there's a lot of fish in that water.

Nice composition, Pnina. Agreed about the OOF foreground, but not much to do about it.

Don't I see a second egret in the middle of the turbulent waters?

Pnina, well seen and captured. The OOF FG is a pity but there's not a lot that can be done about it. It's really a nit as the rest of the shot is great.

To all of you !!For commenting your thoughts. The place is very interesting and now is the season of birds migration ,passing in Israel, but egrets you can see there permanently. There are many pools in that place for fish growing, and many birds. The " acrobat" was a fascinating phenomenon to look at, and I have another version that I will apload. The pools are very wide so my Focal length was 300mm.I saw the OOF in the fg. but thought that it is a good image despite it. I realy appreciate your support.

Yes Chris you see another egret in the water...

Thanks again to all of you. Pnina

Neat picture, Pnina. I guess the aeration wheel disturbance seems no worse than a static waterfall to the bird, but it sure makes for an interesting picture!

At the first glance I thought you had used an IR filter Pnina. What a great shot. The splashing water looks beautiful and very impressive. The bird sitting on the roop is very unusual I think but next to the water wheel it forms a great and wonderful mainobject in the composition which I like very much. Greetings, Ada:)

Pnina, this is fantastic. It's interesting, different, original, colorful, well composed, exciting, and last but not least, it's an original Pnina Evental.

Great catch! My attention is drawn away from the foreground by the cable's reflection and the water spray, oh yes and by the egret. Very pleasing contradiction of the waters movement and the bird's stillness.

What a capture, Pnina. Great moment for your very (always) attentive eye. Never seen anything similar. A pity that blue thing in front, but nothing you can do unless you transform the blue to silver. Excellent shot.
