jana 1 Posted October 21, 2005 Nirupam, Your photo lacks the clear colours, seems like it is covered by grey film. Have you done the basic colour treatnment in PS? (I invite you to see my Fall Rapsody photo's, cheers Jana ) Link to comment
neel1 0 Posted October 21, 2005 This picture is not manipulated yet. The greyish tinge might pop out of the 'Shade' white balance. I just liked the ambience in the forest and shot the moment. It was so tranqil and nice. Thanks for your comments. Link to comment
jana 1 Posted October 21, 2005 Nirupam, I understand the quiet feeling, I love Fall and forest too. But I bet, the colours at that time were more vivid. If you shoot digital, then they say every photo should be treated the basic manipulation (curves, levels) they actually call it postprocessing, it is no manipulation. The digital compared to e.g. colour slides - is still worse in giving you the vivid colours. (see , the Fall Rapsody images of mine are actually scan of the slides, where except on 2 there is no post processing done. I could hardly achieve these colours when shooting digital) Link to comment
