thomas_turk 0 Posted November 5, 2005 Good exposure and perspective. Mid horizon boring. As beach is more interesting than sky, swivel camera down, lose MOST of the sky, and make an earthy shot. Also a low camera position,ie on your belly, would have made a pretty foreground.. Then throw the front of the foreground out-of-focus with f4? and give the pix more dimension. see photos4u.dk, master of light and composition. You will improve 100% if you study, absorb, learn from his over 1500 shots. Link to comment
dave_c5 0 Posted November 6, 2005 As opposed to studying and learning for TTs 0 shots on PN or maybe the 5 or 6 he has on his sight...... Link to comment
iren 1 Posted November 7, 2005 Could you guys please speak English?! Please do excuse my ignorance, but I have no clue what you are on about. Confused, Iren :o) Link to comment
dave_c5 0 Posted November 11, 2005 Sorry to vent on your photo, Turk sure has a lot to say about other people photos (much of which is good advise like his is here) but posts none of his own. I'd just like to see him walk the walk from time to time. Dave Link to comment
iren 1 Posted November 12, 2005 Thanks Dave for the clarification. It's as clear as mud! :o) Apology not necessary!I see that TT has a reputation...Besides...I have my OWN style and as I am new to photography, I do have lots to learn, but I still want my stuff to be my own. I do appreciate you taking the time to comment on my portfolio, nonetheless. I like the community that is created with PN members over time! Kind regards, Iren Link to comment
