JamieK 1 Posted October 3, 2005 The Greek-Key motif is very effective in shadow. You must be tired of this kind of question after such a lot of photo.net experience, but do you think colour adds anything to the image? It's already more or less monochrome (all of the pixels have roughly the same RGB ratio, but different absolute values). I wonder what it would like in b/w. Link to comment
thwong 0 Posted October 3, 2005 an interesting study on shadows and intersecting lines. Good eye for detail Link to comment

alejandrokeller 0 Posted October 3, 2005 I know you did not asked me, but I would say monochrom... I am a fan of your BW work. Alejandro Link to comment
JamieK 1 Posted October 3, 2005 Converting to black and white dramatically changes the image. I think the black and white version is superior - the colour image almost seems like an artificially coloured version. The colour version has a nice warmth, though. Link to comment
alones 2 Posted October 4, 2005 Thanks Alejandro & Jamie . as i said i had hard time to decide between the color V and the b&w V .b&w defiantly have a unique quality . Next time :) Link to comment
carloscarvalho 0 Posted October 6, 2005 I don't know if B&W will work better. In my opinion, and in this composition the soil color works fine, because is all of one tone. Regards, CC. Link to comment
hadady 0 Posted November 22, 2005 Very nice. I like how the bricks play opposite the key pattern in the fence. Link to comment
