rafikrkamel 1 Posted October 2, 2005 Excellent shot, what did use for light? Great job, Regards! Link to comment
graham john miles 0 Posted October 3, 2005 OK perhaps it's just me but I find myself looking out the window at the landscape. Should there be that competition between the bride and the backdrop? The railing to me also has a jarring effect that breaks the picture into 1/3 and 2/3. I would have been tempted to place her against a plain background and move in closer, making her the total focus of the composition, which I guess, is what it's all about for the bride. Lovely lighting, but there's an obvious vignetting on the outside. Was that intentional? Link to comment
daviddbfotoart 0 Posted October 3, 2005 The lighting was purely bounced flash off the ceiling. I have burnt the edges of the shot intentionally as well as removed some unwanted peripheral objects and reflections. The window backdrop was for reasons, as the wedding was on Daydream Island in the Whitsundays off Nth Queensland in Australia, and the unit owner and bride wanted scenic portraits (lovely contradiction!) Thanks guys for the feedback. Link to comment
