mgvaughan.com 0 Posted October 5, 2005 I spent a sunset creating motion blurs in my frontyard- this photo was one of them. Photos of this nature are hard to critique. Do you have alternative ideas for blurs imvolving either equipment or technique? Link to comment
jmoody 0 Posted October 5, 2005 love the striation (is that a word?) of color and the slight angle is nice too. If it's nothing top-secret, what'd you do? Link to comment
mgvaughan.com 0 Posted October 5, 2005 It's a straight camera blur of trees. For those of you compelled to rate this it's really subjective. Shots like this are used for product backgrounds and textures for brochures. Of course it could be framed as an abstract wall piece. But, that's a personal choice. In short, don't rate it. Just add a few suggestions about abstract blurs. Thanks Link to comment
mars790 1 Posted October 29, 2005 as far as abstract blurs go, this is a good one. i have some different versions of this, mostly macro with various lighting techniques. PN viewers don't always know what to make of my abstracts. some of my images that get 7's also get 1's by ignorant people who don't "get it". some are perusing around for nudes or close-ups of bugs (which are fine). so don't let the low ratings get to you. in the future, put these up for critique only and keep on shooting. you have a good eye Link to comment
