joelle1 0 Posted September 28, 2005 Very interesting. It must draw moisture from somewhere underground. Great photo. Link to comment
chris_wick 0 Posted September 28, 2005 To me it looks like the tree is growing out of a giant wood knot! (6/6) Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted September 29, 2005 Nicely composed. I like the details of the patterns in the sand. I like the colours here but I am sure this would also make a good B&w. Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted October 27, 2005 Thangavelu, The placement of the tree (shrub?) in the frame makes this one a very appealing composition. It's my favourite of your current posts. This one scene, under many different lighting conditions, would produce as many different looking shots. I would love to see this in direct, bright sun (45 degrees off to the side, of course), or in the low light of early morning\late afternoon so as to emphasize the sand texture and patterns. For this shot, I would clone out the vegetation at the very bottom of the frame but it's still very good as it is. Your 'Details' claim this one to be from Dubai, country of Dubai. Have you renamed the country or is this just a typo and really United Arab Emirates? :-) Best, LM. Link to comment
