Power Lines

After this one hit in my back yard I saw white spots for 2 hours.

Needless to say that was the end of my lightning veiwing for the

evening.

Cool shot! Did you have to change your pants after you took the shot? LOL!

I still haven't caught lightening. Was your camera affected? How far/close was it?

I like the way it almost seems to loop around the cables. Nice.

No shorts were harmed in the production of this photograph. These wires are about 100 feet away from my house. I was using a tripod from under my patio and just kept the shutter open until after a strike would hit. This was so close the tripod and my butt moved on the deck from the concussion. The camera is fine and still shoots great. Best regards , James
