This is the very first photo taken (by me) with my 8x10. Comments?

Robert, What I especially love about this photo is the secondary lighting. As her side drifts off into the shadows, there's just enough light to show a strong arching curve of her back and to keep the right elbow from trailing off into darkness. Likewise, the light on her right index finger lets your eye see the curve of her butt that disappears just below the hand. I think it's particularly effective that this accessory light trails off below the waist. Beautiful girl, beautiful skin, beautiful lighting.

Excellen first shoot with large format.But the use of lights revele that you are not a principiant.(or not?)

Truly perfect composition.

Very nice lights. I personally, would have liked the same subtle amount of light, that I see on her left elbow, to light up the back of her jeans.

 

And fantastic resolution. I am stunned!
