Beautifull Landscape Jana!, I like very much the color palette as well as the composition w/ bushes and illuminated field, very dramatic sky (my favourites 8^)), saludos

Beautiful bands of colour separating and uniting land and sky.

The sand dunes of Namib in the late afternoon sun, the yellow is the

dry grass growing on the dunes.. This is the entrance to the land of

TSOATSOA, the barren desert of Namib.

A solid looking and very interesting landscape. I like the emphasis on the sky. Would suggest leveling the road at the bottom to enhance.

I really like the land with the way the cloads play off the sand. I also like the trees along the river bed. The sky I think floods the picture a little to much.

Robert, Kim, thank you for your suggestions. As you may know, the sky like this, is in the desert a very unusual sight, especially in Namib, one of the driest deserts on earth. I think sometimes the content (idea) of a photograph has to prevail above the rules of composition. And for me it is here. Thanks anyway, jana

True, and I know you carefully think through all your compositions. It helps for you to tell us how unusual and rare it is to see a sky like this there. I hadn't realized the importance of that sky.
