While overall I think this is creatively done, there is a somewhat forced look to the seashell headwear on the human figure. Hasn't this allusion been done already in an old ScFi movie (Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea)? Regards.

Always a pleasure to view your images. The surrealism, & the profound qualities are, as always, most exceptional, & "other worldly", as those in the far corners of my dreams.

Many thanks for another fine image.

Well put together, how much time did this piece take you to do? I am a fan of jerry uelsmann and Scott Mutter, whom your work is in the vain of. I have done a few in the darkroom, but look forward to creating montage digitally after grad school...nice work.

Ben, I am always excited when I see you have posted a new image. I am looking forward to examine it, try to imagine what exactly is the message. Then I have time to enjoy the beauty of it even though I am puzzled about the meaning. It is the mystery mostly, that attracts me to your work.

I am never dissapointed. It is always a master piece. jana

but it's good to see the master is still leading the way.

Bravo, as always!

The mask on the left side looks kinda out of place, I believe the problem may be the empty space between it and the left border, when you see it your mind tends to say "that's not right: the mask should be toppling over". Maybe you could place it horizontally to minimize that weird feeling.

The rest of the composition is great. Your work reminds me a lot of Dali's dark-toned compositions. Ever tried translucent/dual shapes? (See Dali's "Face and fruit dish", "Endless Enigma")
