mother, daughter, flowers (please critique)

This is a very nice portrait of an intimate moment between mother and daughter. Highlights and shadows seem to be well balanced. If I had to make a critique, I would say crop the right side to about the mother's shoulder or maybe further. Very sweet.

I cannot add anything to Jason's comment. My thoughts exactly.

Framing could be better,in all other aspects a very nice picture, I like it.

This piece is lovely in that it effectively conveys one of the best classic subjects - a mother and child. Visually very appealing, and although the content is not 100% balanced (I would crop a bit off the right side of the photo), I actually like it a bit unbalanced - it gives the overall photograph an unpredictable charm all its own. Very nice.

Very nice. A lovely moment to capture. I personally wouldn't crop from the right, I think this would make the image very cramped. There is a problem with where the left-hand side of the picture finishes though, in my opinion you should have included more of the girl and even some space beside her to open up the picture; possibly position the girl in the centre of the frame, she seems to be being crowded out.

I agree with Jed on composition: sound advice. But the overall effect is very nice and refreshing. Nice work!

 

A very warm and sweet photo. I agree with other folks about the cropping -- I'm also assuming you don't have anymore on the left to add of the girls head.
