dk. 0 Posted September 22, 2005 Alec I think this is a very nice shot, This was taken through a window right? As It is not as clear as I thought it may be and there is some kind of reflection in the picture mostly on the bottom that's why I think it is taken through a window not to mention the curtains. Good thing they have there cloths on. :o) lol. Nice shot. DK. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted September 22, 2005 Thank you Francesco, David, it's actually taken from the main door entrance. The Vietnamese normally leave their home open most of the time and I just made this image looking in. Thanks for coming. The curtain is in the middle room leading towards the courtyard. I kind of like the orange light in the kitchen where they are having their lunch. Look at the details and you know it's shot in low light. I purposely made it grainy/noisy to get the old time look. Love the Ho Chi Minh portrait, makes the difference to a typical home scene. Link to comment

vietnam photo 0 Posted September 27, 2005 Your Vietnam photos all have superb composition and lighting. And they have an intimate Vietnamese feel and soul. All of them are great and I like this one the best. Link to comment
