This is a beautiful shot of the mountain,I think the best of the folder. I believe that the line you see is blowing snow .As the wind blows over the ridge line the snow is blown with it. Great photo.

About the cause of the line, Micheal is right and that is the snow blowing in higher altitude(with winds probably in the order of 50-60 miles/hour). Awesome scene. 7/7
