Vancouver Island from 30,000 ft.

I took this out an airplane window on a flight from Anchorage to Seattle. The sunset light

was gorgeous but low, so I had to turn up the ISO to 800 to get a hand holdable shot.

Processing the shot I ran the Noise Ninja filter first to smooth out the noise, then worked

levels and saturation to accentuate the clouds and the blue sky.

"I'm afraid it doesn't do much for me. The clouds do have some interesting patterns and color, but it is too subtle to grab me. No lines to lead the eye, except the horizon which leads out. There nothing going on at the bottom to add much interest. The lack of contrast and color also detracts." Sounds familiar? :-) Thank you for commenting
