Great shot Howard. The detail is extraordinary. I particularly like the creases in her shirt and the toning on the ball.

I'm with Warren. I also like the straggly hair ... between that and the way she's sitting on the ball, it makes it look like she just had a rough game!!

Howard, nice composition and gesture. The bokeh on the grass area is not too pleasing to the eye (was that a 28-70 2.8 at long end?) The monochrome works well for you as usual.

This is an absolutely fabulous shot, from an artists prospective the composition is perfect, from the detail throughout the image to the contrasts in the shadows play.

 

I want to draw this! It brought immediately to mind, 'Anything boys can do, girls can do better!'

Superb. Every detail works, including the way she is looking out of the frame. Formally, the parallel between her right leg, upper arm and pony tail (!) is very pleasing.
