Provia 400 film rated at ISO 320, 400mm, f4 outside mounting lens ("The Beast"). Shot from our back verandah over several days. Scanned on a Flextight Precision II scanner and then selectively filtered with a combination of Photoshop's Dry Brush, Smart Blur and Dry Brush (again) filters. Birds are pretty-well to scale. Colors are actual, but enhanced. Placement within the frame is artificial, except for the cockatoo and the Rosella at right.
