Pnina, He looks as though his lady has left, and he can't get out to get her back. Very good indeed, best dog portrait I've seen for a long time.....well done......Jim

I bet he wasn't sad Pnina. He was only a bit shy for the camera. You've made a perfect portrait of him and I like your very original frame too.

To all of you, for that feedback.

Igor,Thanks for your suggestion I tried to crop it and did not like the result, the dog looks better to my eyes as is.

Thanks to all of you, Pnina

p., just looked at your details, and you were inspired to go f.22 and must have an awfully steady hand to get this so sharp at that shutter speed. again, really fine piece of work.

sometimes it is difficult for me to give the right comment because I have to do it in English.

And sometimes I'm lucky that someone for me gives the comment exactly how I would like to do.

So....I totaly, totaly, totaly agree wit Ben!!

Thanks for sharing your always beautiful photographs!

Vrey good composition as usual. In such a light situation, I would take ISO 100, but 200 was a good choice in this case for evaluative metering. You could post this as a portrait photo also!

Sweet Pnina,

Although this dog is in a cage, he looks not unhappy, I think he is taken good care off, looking at the pennings around his neck, and his shining fur, his wet nose.

Perfect framing BTW, it gives the finishing touch off the picture, but I agree with Igor about thew last part
