Why so dark?

A much better image IMHO. So what is the story behind this.... all the boats etc. Are they fishing boats or??? What part of Italy is this in?

Most of the boats are owned by locals for going fishing, they are also rentals for the tourists. The Cinque Terra are five cities on the Northern coast of Italy. Riomaggiore is one of the five cities. My wife and I stayed here for about 3-4 days on a recent trip to Europe.

Thanks for the info. My wife and I are planning a trip to Florence and the Tuscany region to visit with a friend there. He is a freelance and assignment photographer and travels worldwide. He has offered to be our guide through all of Tuscany. An offer we can not pass up any longer. We are only waiting to make our reservations, probably for August/September of next year.
