markonestudios 4 Posted September 8, 2005 My first attempt at a high-key portrait. I am mainly looking for constructive comments rather than just ratings, but feel free to do both :) Link to comment
shambhala 0 Posted September 9, 2005 I am not specialised in this technique but to me, this shot looks more overexposed than high-key... Basically, you should whiten everything more, then punch up the blacks, not the greys- as it is, there are actually too many details. Also, before you do all that, you should try and bring out some details in her lower lips and teeth. Good efort, though! Link to comment
markonestudios 4 Posted September 9, 2005 Hi S :) Thanks for the critique. I'm going to try it out, but I'm not sure how exactly to go about it in PS. Pls email me how you'd do it, when you get some time... I'll try it out on my own in the meantime. Cheers! Link to comment
curtis_comeau2 0 Posted October 22, 2005 Too hot in the cheeks. Its fine on frame left but the right cheek looks kinds wierd. Nice shot though! Link to comment
