But it looks like PN changed rating rules - again - during my holiday. Well, Birte, i have a problem. Remember your bug pics made me jealous cause i only have grey flies over here ? Now, your bird pics are starting to make me jealous too... and what do i have ? Oh yes : sparrows and turtledoves ! *Sigh*.

Very beautifull colors, maybe a little to much sharpen but i m looking into a very bright screen (at my girlfriend house). For my self i find it hard sometimes to chose on a 0 sharpen or a +1 (one click) sharpen. Would like to get between so often i work whit a local blurer. Would u have other tricks ? oh overall 7/7

I love vibrant colors and graphic detail and your lovely little "birte's" are an excellent example of what works for me. Good use of dof to focus interest on these charmers.

Amazing colours! The peeking bird in the back adds a very funny touch to the photo.

And how lucky you are to have these in your back yard. The colours are lovely - quite a contrast to my subtle swans. I like the humour in this one. The expressions on their faces show some personality. And the dual poses give a good front and side angle of the birds. It's an excellent composition and dof with flattering light.
