try to ignore that bug in the picture. treat the picture as a set of green tones and an abstract of the plant.

I like this shot. I usually prefer a tighter crop but this wide shot gives this expressive bugger a reference to the outside world. Ken

I could have cropped it, but I feel like I am cheating if I crop the picture to an unprintable size. and the little bugger wouldn't let me closer (see his expression). and I also liked the frame the plant put it in, as you mentioned.
