Michael, you have captured many great moments here, particularly their expressions. I like the space on the right. I would have liked a tad more lighting on his face, but all around...splendid.

As for the lighting, yes and no to the suggestion about more light on the father's face. Maybe less light on Ruby and then boost the entire image up a notch... M

Great composition and crop, and good contrast. I think the lighting is fine just the way it is. This shot really captures the apparant mood.
