Wonderful. Love IR, but it is important to have a good photo first, then the IR film can enhance it. This would be a stunning photo with any medium.

Well Sondra, you've got me in a pickle. Now I'm trying to decide if this as good or better than the last one(the little bridge and station). Both are very good compositions. Heck, I like them about the same, so both will have to get the same rating from me. Well done.....Jim

Anywhere near the town in WV where "October Sky" was filmed? Tell me ... what was your reason for standing ON the RR tracks instead of a bit to the left so that they would lead diagonally into the image?

Lou Ann, I usually stand to the side, but I wanted the eye to be drawn in to the image as maybe what the engineer would see. I don't know where October Sky was filmed. Cheers, Sondra

I LIKE the railroad tracks coming from directly (almost) from the photographer's (and thus the viewer's) point. The very recognizable shape of the RR combines so well here with the out of this world effect of IR. Well done!

Is a vintage lovely shot, perhaps and maybe not I think it will be nicer with a darker sepia tone. Maybe is my screen it seems a bit yellow. I love it anyway!
