Here's another version...comments?

I like this version best. I think the richer colors (compared to light blue) add more depth to the photos. Love the contrast between the sand and the starfish and how the sky picks up the color of the starfish. Very nice.

Near Canon Beach, Oregon...

I like this one better than the other one of the same scene. But the horizon line isn't completely straight, and for me it destroys some of the aesthetic value. But it can be easily fixed.

 

Apart from that, super!

I like this one better. the colors are very well matched. The starfish points toward the edge of the water, which then your eyes follow it up to the sunset. Good job.

There's almost a pathos to loneliness of the starfish on what's obviously a foreign shore. Nice composition and story telling. I also like this shot better than the other.
