wilsontsoi 0 Posted September 6, 2005 Nice one, Ken. I like it! If anything at all, I wish to see the background more blurred out. Solid capture. ^_^ Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted September 6, 2005 Ken, action shot goal achieved. Do more. I think the backgroud blur is just right as it doesn't distract but gives us some context for the shot. Link to comment
chips2 0 Posted September 7, 2005 Action filled image.....Excellent shot ! My kind of sport. Link to comment
dkphoto 0 Posted September 8, 2005 Would have like to see more of the ramp. To give perspective, from this picture you can not tell how high he is. There is a great detail in the rider but I think for bmx street photography you need to show the ramp as well. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted September 8, 2005 Ken, His expression and his movement on the bike are doing it for me. The right moment! Pnina Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted September 9, 2005 There is no ramp. This is Louisville's Extreme Park. Basically, it's a series of concrete pits open to anyone with the desire to risk life and limb. It amazes me how many parents allow their kids, unlike this fellow, to participate with little or no protection. Thanks for your comment. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted September 9, 2005 Well caught, Ken! The detail of his face and arm are very good and give a good sense of the action. If you include more context as suggested you would tend to lose that detail. Admirable shot! Link to comment
renny 0 Posted September 11, 2005 Great clarity and action shot. I probably would not have cropped it quite so close but your interpretation is quite effective and seems to emphasize the figure well and that is the point after all. I find my eye drawn right to the face. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted September 11, 2005 Ken, getting interested in action pictures, and find this really good. What pose you immortalized. Link to comment

aepelbacher 0 Posted October 22, 2005 Catching up on some old messages ... I like the action in this one ... almost reminds me of Wilson's sports stuff. Anyway - I also like the expression on his face. Fun capture!! Link to comment
