cts 0 Posted September 9, 2005 This is from a RAW, but unfortunately the white smoke is a little overexposed. Nothing else could be done.Maybe recreating a fake wing by cloning. But I didn't want to go in this type of hassling work just for this picture. I have other pictures I prefer in my portfolio, so I left it as is. Link to comment
cts 0 Posted September 11, 2005 "... you might be able to bring back some of the detail of the smoke by blending this photo with a second layer, created from a copy of this photo that has an exposure compensation of 1 or 2 stops ...":-)))This is what I did for almost all my pictures (blended sky), and on this one for keeping a lighter plane on the blended dark sky.I tried to do what you suggested, but the smoke is overexposed on the RAW itself.
