Fira d'Agost in Xátiva-2

The Fira d'Agost (August Fair) is Xátiva's (in Valencia, Spain) most important festivity. This image was taken at midnight. All the village was out there. The main street was crowded. I had to wait for a long time to get a scene with some distinct people in foreground rather than a pack of passer-by's.

The shot was taken with a Point-and-Shoot Leica Mini II, handheld, using a roll of very old, long passed its development date (1999), TriX 400 roll

Mi espanol se me escapa esta manana. I like it very much, the DOf and especially the mother and the couple in the forefront, with the sign being the highlite of it . Good texture and contrast.

Aunque parezca mentira el protagonista de la foto es el chupete del ni�o. Ciudad mora como se refleja en las llamas de las luces.

I like the graininess, as well as the fact that you can't see the face of the young mother. The lit archway rounds out the composition perfectly!!

Esta me encanta Alberto, pero me gustaba con el titulo original. Lo encontraba perfecto.

Podria haberse llamado: "Suenyo de una noche de verano..." no?
