alberto.conde 0 Posted September 4, 2005 Detail of the stonework of a house in Moropeche, Albacete, a far away village, one of the southernmost of Castille. The shot was taken with a Point-and-Shoot Leica Mini II, handheld, using a roll of very old, long passed its development date (1999), TriX 400 roll Link to comment
sambal 0 Posted September 4, 2005 A good result notwithstanding the physical age of the equipment! Cheers, Sam. Link to comment
Ciao Marco Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted September 5, 2005 It IS the texture created by the stones that makes this a quality image. The steps draw the eye to the door. Link to comment
:-) Saludos, Sig. Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted September 5, 2005 ... about the door. The problem was that in order to have the whole door into the frame I had to get into the picture, as well, a number of modern artifacts. I chose to get only what smelled "old".Remember that I was using a fixed 35mm focal in a Point 'n Shoot little Leica Mini Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted September 5, 2005 Excellent composition with a good distribution of the focal points and good balance of grey levels. What you say about the door and that you chose to get only what smelled "old", illustrate a "problem" that I have chosen also to illustrate with my two recents uploads, that is to say that photographers often choose to "manipulate" the reality as soon as the moment of the shot. You can see my illustration of this here : Chateau de Chillon (1) and here : Chateau de Chillon (2) Link to comment
Link to comment
Amitiés Link to comment
Link to comment
mauricio alcaraz carbia 0 Posted September 5, 2005 De acuerdo totalmente contigo Alberto. Link to comment
Link to comment
