waltchapman 0 Posted September 4, 2005 Got lucky and caught a flock of wild turkeys crossing a road. Did not know I had caught this shot till under review. Comments and suggestions welcomed. A levels adjustment was all that was done to the picture besides the crop and frame. Thanks. Link to comment
iren 1 Posted September 4, 2005 Wow- this is a neat and original shot! However turkeys can't fly so the turkeys were running for good reason! Some type of bird of prey was on the hunt for dinner! Might I suggest cropping more? That way the focus would be more on the subject. Link to comment
waltchapman 0 Posted September 5, 2005 Thanks for the suggestion on the crop. As for do turkeys fly, yes they do. Domestic turkeys can't. Wild ones can fly a fair distance. They will roost in trees in the midday and the night. But from my understanding they ground nest when hatching chicks. Have chased many a wild turkey have seen them fly away. Thanks for the suggestion. Link to comment
