Catching Dragonflies (Featured in Photovideoi January 2006 issue)

Strange practice. The women featured is catching dragonflies for

frying in the pot for dinner.

Wonderful saturation and composition. The one person there makes the whole image seem much more important somehow. Very nice. The only thing I would change is the caption-- perhaps remove it, or at least make it smaller and/or off center so that it doesn't distract as much from the composition of the image.

Just love those wavy lines progressing up the frame to the palms. Great job keeping the paddie edge in the frame as well.

Paddy fields are getting cliched nowadays - this one, however, does stand out differently. Nice one.

The lines, the dramatic clouds, all the different shades of geeen, the one person being there and teh great clarity are all elements that together create this beutiful photo. Beautiful beyond words.

Sometimes nice cloud formation can be better then blue sky isn't it true?

Thanks guys, just got back from Borobudur and saw so many positive comments. Enjoyed the trip with some PN buddies. Bilal, the sky was darken to bring out the clouds.
