Visiting Vienna, a modern city which is surrounded with a ring ( double meaning) of the past.Monumental buildings and churches in different artistic styles like Gothic, Barok, Rokoko, full, but full of statues scene, angels, flowers decorations. all of them scenes telling the glory/story of the past. And the arts, music, theatre, are as well based on many of creators ,belonging to the past. My folder is a photographic impressions of the city.

Pnina, Terrific composition and detail, only a photographer with the soul of an artist would shoot this subject at this angle.....Not that it really matters to anyone, but to me this would also be a prime subject for solarization, if one is into that sort of thing..... Hanneke sent me a nice email yesterday......All the best....Jim

Pnina - I love these shots from Vienna. Especially the architecture ones ... you really know how to capture the essence of the carvings and statues, as well as the arches. The lines and figures represented in your images are gorgeous and well presented within the frame.

Lou Ann and Jim, I appreciate very much your commented thoughts!

Jim, why do you think about solarisation with that one , and how it is done?

Thanks, Pnina

I like the puzzle of the arches and the domes, the eye and brain convert it all to 3-dimensions and enjoy the stone textures and detail.

A corner that many will missed, I think, except Pnina's alert vision & perspective. Very good lighting for a interior shot.

Very round corner in any case. Proves that everything is relative in this univers (... except your photography which is absolute). Best regards.
