nirakara 0 Posted September 7, 2005 Hey Bill, It seems like the vespa is turning around to look at the graffiti. Were you thinking about it that way? Nice. Thanks for your comment by the way. Link to comment
ladibug 0 Posted September 8, 2005 In spite of fascist graffiti I find this photo really well done! Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted September 10, 2005 Your B&W image has excellent tonal range, Ansel Adams would be proud! Good graphic detail. I think the association between the graffito and Vespa spell Italy. Link to comment

billfoster 0 Posted February 22, 2006 Thank you, Jim. Another of my personal favorites. You'll note that the manipulation box is unchecked here. The grafitti was there and the vespa. It's a true scene, but the grafitti wasn't noticeable enough so I enlarged it a bit. Over the line? I like this because I "SAW" it in B&W from the beginning. Far too often, I go to B&W as a result of a failure to capture color and light adequately. I feel that I too often use B&W as a cover-up for my screw-ups. Don't get me wrong. I love it and want to do more of it and be better at it. But, it's still rare that I really plan and see a shot in B&W from the beginning. Link to comment
